Top 7 Flying/Airport Tips Everyone Should Know!

OOO

Hello and Happy Friday, everyone! I have been traveling a bit more recently so I've been picking up little tips here and there and thought I would share them with you all especially because I know spring break is just right around the corner. So here we go!

Buy your tickets on a Tuesday or Thursday: Plane tickets are always most expensive on weekends and Mondays! I have always gotten the best deals personally on Tuesday. The price difference can be super dramatic!

Google Flights: The best way to find flights, Google Flights! It is the best way to find the best price on all airlines. You can see multiple different prices for that month to find the most cost efficient days. Much more direct and easier to use than kayak or other similar sites.

Empty Water Bottle: This one seems like it would be thought of but often isn't? You can not bring more than 4fl oz through security but you can bring and empty water bottle and fill it up once you get through security! Saves you time and a lot of money getting to avoid the pricy airport drinks.

Dress in Layers: Layers, Layers, Layers!! Rather your destinations weather is completely different from where you are departing or not airports and airplanes have the craziest fluctuating temperatures it goes from freezing to burning up in minutes. Layers keep you prepared and comfortable for either!

Slip on Shoes: Slip on shoes make it so much easier and faster to get through security; no more holding up the TSA lines!

Maps: One of my favorite apps for traveling is GateGuru. GateGuru has a map of nearly all airports and the different shops and places to eat in each terminal. The app also updates you on any gate switches or delays.

Sign up for text: When you buy your plane tickets there is an option to get updates and alerts on your trip! Don't pass this up. The texts remind you of your flight, when you can check in, delays and gate changes.

Hopefully these tips help you on your next adventure! I'd love to hear some of your alls travel tips and tricks below.

xo, Brianna
