My Top 8 Carry-on Must-Haves

The holidays are quickly approaching, and for a lot of people that means travel! Traveling can be rough but traveling around the holidays? That is a special kind of difficult! So here are a list of essentials to pack in your carry-on to make things a whole lot easier and enjoyable the next time you fly.

Oversized Scarf:

Layering is a must when flying you just never know if it will be hot or freezing or maybe even both all within the same flight! You can use it as a blanket or a pillow.

Shop them here: ModCloth , Amazon , Nordstrom

Eye Drops/ Solution:

Airplanes are incredibly dry, in fact the air is more dry than in the Sahara desert, literately! Bringing eye drops and bring the moisture back while on the plane to relive irritation, and if you wear contacts bringing solution is a must if your eyes are bothered take them out for the remainder of the flight. Nothing worse than dry contacts on a long flight!

Chapstick:

For the same reason as above planes are just incredibly dry! Your lips need a little extra care when traveling.

Empty Water Bottle:

For some reason this one is always over looked and the one I forget the most. Pack an empty water bottle to fill up after you get through security to save your money and the hassle of buying drinks before your flight.

Fuzzy Socks or Compression Socks:

My feet are always freezing on planes so I always pack fuzzy socks! However if you are taking a longer flight you might want to consider compression socks.

Shop them here: Target , Compression Socks

Sunglasses/ Eye Mask:

Bringing one of these really helps when trying to catch some extra sleep and rest on your flight.

Electronics and Chargers:

I always prefer to pack all my electronics and chargers in my carry on to prevent anything happening to them or getting lost with my checked luggage. This is also great if you have music/ or movies downloaded.

Extra Skincare:

This can apply to your long flight or the night before your flight. The dry air on the plane dries out your skin therefore your skin produces excess amounts of oil causing breakouts. To prevent this do a hydrating face mask the night before and the morning or day of use a heavier moisturizer!

So there they are those are my Carry-on Must-Haves! What is something you absolutely can not fly without?
